I’m an illustrator, cartoonist, painter, and artist.
I work on weekly cartoons, published and self-published comics and unique illustration projects .
Over my career I’ve gained extensive experience working with writers, journalists and industry professionals to create eye catching, informative and powerful illustrations, in line with their brand identity and within speedy deadlines.
I find the problem solving nature of illustration extremely rewarding, as is the feeling of giving a project all I’ve got that comes with a deadline.
I have particular expertise working in the growing sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) space.
A range of projects require me to be mindful of the broader context and the larger conversation, sensitive to how images will be perceived, as well as portraying well-known figures that are instantly, and respectfully, identifiable.

First I read the article by Daniel Smith, ‘Future mining workforce critical to energy transition‘, published on ReGen Strategic’s website and newsletter, and as a column in the West Australian.
Within 12-24 hours I present at least three unique approaches, a process I developed with the team over time.
And another 12-24 hrs later… a finished cartoon!
My brain never stops trying to find ways to improve a piece. Here, I swapped out the third figure, opting for heavy machinery for a more iconic representation of mining.
